Hi, I'm Karan
About Me
I’m a sculptor born and based in Delhi. My journey with clay began as a quiet fascination and has grown into a deep, ongoing conversation with the material. I studied Fine Arts at College of Art, Delhi, where I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
My work is deeply inspired by Indian mythology, ancient scriptures, and the philosophies of saints and mystics. I’m drawn to stories that speak of stillness, balance, and the quiet beauty of transformation. These ideas find their way into my sculptures, sometimes through abstract and intuitive.
Ceramics, for me, feels like the most natural extension of my thoughts as there’s something grounding and honest about working with earth, water, air, and fire. I love how this medium holds memory and touch, how it teaches patience, and how no two pieces ever come out the same. There’s a certain rhythm to it that mirrors life itself.
My hope with every sculpture is to create a space for reflection, a pause where the viewer can reconnect with something quiet inside themselves. I’m still learning, still exploring, and always curious about what’s next.
